Partner, Data and Analytics

Shumaila's diverse background with experience spans market research, data analysis, consulting, and board-level involvement. Her career began in analytical roles within finance and market analysis in Pakistan, before she moved to the UK where she held data, market research, and consulting positions . In addition to Strides Insights, she currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education, a Pakistani non-profit organization focused on girls' education. She is also a proud Institute of Business Administration alumni and has an MSc in Public Policy from UCL.

Partner, Research and Public Policy

Zainab first became interested in research after an internship abroad while studying urban planning, which later kickstarted her career with consulting. This led her to the public sector, first at the municipal level in social housing and transportation in Canada and later at the national level in animal product imports and exports when she moved to the UK. While much of Zainab's work has been in the public sector, she has also worked in consulting and the nonprofit sector, including the social enterprise space. She has a bachelor's in urban and regional planning and a Masters of Arts in adult education and community development.
